The Doctor’s House Chapel was constructed to mirror ceremonies of yesterday inspired by the best assets of Canadian Chapels in the 1800′s. The ambiance is both intimate and romantic. Featuring authentic wooden pews, candlelit iron chandeliers and cathedral windows.
Chapel Rentals:
$800.00 plus taxes when a private reception is booked with a minimum of 40 people.
$300.00 for baptism.
Chaplain:
$175.00 for services
$80.00 assistance fee (if our Chaplain does not officiate)
The Doctor’s House can provide our own Chaplain to officiate your wedding ceremony or simply assist your own Officiant at a modest fee.
Organist:
$85.00 for services
$35.00 assistance fee (if our Organist is not required)
*All services must not exceed 30 minutes
* Only applies Monday through Thursdays. The Garden Room must be booked along with the Doctor’s Study, Friday through Sunday’. The Heritage Room must be booked along with the Colony Room Fridays through Sundays.
Please Note: For all function rooms, a buffet setup may reduce the maximum dining/seating capacity for the function room. Please confer with the Catering Office.
The Doctor’s Study will be included with rental of the Garden Room Friday through Sunday.
The Colony Room will be included with rental of the Heritage Room Friday through Sunday.
Imagine … Following a white picket fence to a path that is just footsteps from downtown Kleinberg. You find yourself in a different world. White Victorian style buildings poke out from behind a garden that is both partially manicured and partially wild.
You have arrived at “The Gardens” of “The Doctor’s House”.
Two huge concrete floral arrangements welcome you to begin your journey into a hidden sanctuary. As you slowly walk along cobble stoned paths, you are lead past hand trimmed hedges and a wide variety of annuals and perennials. You find a beautiful bronze statue centerpiece standing 5 feet tall in the centre of the garden. The statue has a mother holding her new born baby in her arms… Inscribed in the bronze bench the statue rests upon reads, “in comparison with a loving human being, everything else is worthless.”
Here lies the Graci family’s mission statement. To establish a business and create an atmosphere that celebrates a commitment to family and the celebration of family milestones.
The cobblestones become flagstone and signal the anticipation that something more incredible must lay ahead.
You stumble upon the turn of the century chapel…it makes you believe you are walking back in time.
Beautifully appointed patios beckon your guests to breathe in their surroundings – to relax and have time for family and friends.
If something this beautiful is created outside of “The Doctor’s House” one can only imagine the exciting possibilities housed within the framework of its magnificent building.
